Meeting at SJN church** moving to Oak Road Playing fields* to join the river Hull path out to Woodmansey, crossing pasture land and fields. We will return after a short lunch break at Woodmansey Garden centre** retracing the river back to Oak Road Park, Beresford Avenue, Beverly Road*

Participants can choose not to do the circular and return to Hull from the Woodmansey half way point. (There is a bus into Hull every 30 minutes) Below are some photos taken on the trail. NB there is limited cover on the riverside pathway so please follow our guidelines on kit and footwear. All participants must complete a registration form which includes a health declaration. The total time spent walking will be between 3h 33m to 4 h depending on your speed. The walk will be divided into groups of similar stamina with a designated first aider and a backmarker to ensure no one is left behind. The walk is not suitable for small children, pushchairs or wheelchairs. There are a number of stiles and kissing gates. Currently the path is very dry and tough underfoot however heavy rains can easily change this so please consider the most comfortable footwear for the terrain.
Please download a registration form and send to info@shine-relief.org or return by hand in a sealed envelope to Shine Relief Trust Office at Jubilee Church 62 King Edward Street Hull (do not include cash) before August 5th. Those who turn up without registering may be unable to join the walk. We want to raise a significant amount for Shine Relief Trust and request all participants set a £50 target and create a fundraising page online.
