Shine held its final event of 2019 to support our work in Malawi and raised over £400. Our Christmas themed pass the parcel helped to raise funds along with our raffle and was made possible by the generous donations given by Greetings Box. Thank you so much to Alison and Dan Mackay (https://www.greetingsbox.co.uk/greeting-card-packs/ ) for your generous support especially the singing Christmas tree!
Thanks go to our performers who stunned us with beautiful and unique voices – Emily, Esther, and Valerie all gave their valuable time for free in support of Shine’s work. We are so grateful – you are all a great blessing to Shine.
Suzen Zidana gave a video update to our guests explaining just how far Shine has come in 2019 and how more opportunities are open to our children now that Shine Village has residential care. Many thanks to all who came. Our next event will be a talent and quiz night held on May 8th at Jubilee Church Hull.
