Easter is a very significant time for reflection and celebration across Malawi with many people making new outfits and planning to visit family and attend extended church activities. Over the past 5 years, we have organised many activities at Shine Village. This Easter Suzen worked together with a special friend of Shine Relief, Katiana Konig, who was invited to visit Shine Village with her team from Liebenzell Mission International (LMI). LMI is an international, evangelical Christian mission founded in 1899 and has about 230 missionaries from seven nations, serving in approximately 25 countries around the world! The program was centered around the resurrection of Jesus and included activities spanning the full weekend beginning on Thursday evening and going through to Sunday.
It was such a privilege to have the team with us during this special time. Our children really enjoyed the activities and spending time together. Many hearts were touched during the retelling of this powerful event.
