PROJECTS

The following projects are being developed in the Zomba region of Malawi. These projects will begin towards the end of 2009 with more being launched in 2010.

Shine Kitchen
This will be one of our first projects – the daily feeding of orphans in the Zomba area. Sustaining lives, building relationships and giving hope.

Shine Village
As we develop we plan to build accommodation blocks for the most vulnerable children and young people, providing a home and creating a real family environment.

Gap year
In the future we will be offering Christians from all over the world an opportunity to spend some time with us at Shine Village, serving the community with their talents and abilities.

Education
We aim to provide basic education and practical skills alongside teaching and training in the Word of God. Due to the HIV/ Aids epidemic affecting Malawi, sex and health education will also be included.

Shine Corporation Ltd
This is one of a few businesses we are starting to raise funds for Shine Relief and provide work in the local economy. Shine Lighting will be supplying low energy LED lighting and some solar technology as a cost effective alternative to paraffin generators. For further information on Shine Corporation Ltd click here.
