Shine Relief Trust has been set up to relieve the suffering of orphans and widows who have been affected by the scourge of AIDS.

Primarily working in Malawi, the Trust seeks to feed, love, and bless those in desperate need by providing for them with a programme of education, business support, family environment and a high level of care.

 

Established in 2008 by a group of committed Christians, from the outset the Trust has sought to put into action the following verse from Scripture:

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
James 1:27

 Shine Relief Trust is more than just a social care organisation - it seeks to bring hope and peace found through knowing Jesus on a personal level; it looks to help the inner soul, not just the outer skin.

Hastings and Suzen Zidana travel home to Zomba, Malawi on Thursday 28th January. They will meet with other trustees of Shine Relief Trust (Malawi) very soon to begin the initial efforts of co-ordinating the work that Shine has set out to accomplish.
