Shine Relief Trust was set up to relieve the suffering of orphans, widows and the poor in Malawi, south east Africa. Shine has a team working in the Zomba district of Malawi and a Trust providing support from the UK. Through various projects Shine seeks to feed, love and bless those in desperate need by providing for their basic human needs with a high emphasis on care.
Our mission statement is summed up below:
We work alongside local people in one of the poorest regions of one of the poorest nations, Malawi, to care for vulnerable children, traumatised by bereavement, disease and extreme poverty. We provide food, love, and hope through feeding programs, orphan support and micro business.
