Children who are orphaned have the most difficult path to take and many do not find the support they need growing up. Living without a Mum and Dad and limited family support has a massive impact on the life of a child and any hopes and dreams quickly die.
Setting aside time to connect in some way with the challenges faced by those we serve in Malawi is very important and this year we are excited to be taking our walk further afield to Wakefield!
The theme this year aims to convey to all participating that we can be a hero in life as we reach out with kindness and generosity to others.
On the flip side, we want to acknowledge that in life the children of Malawi are the true heroes facing the difficult path they walk daily.
